The Friendlies Foundation is currently raising funds to commence the Hospital Accommodation Project. The Hospital Accommodation Project will be constructed on the corner of Bingera and Woondooma Streets, adjacent to the Friendlies hospital precinct consisting of 16 studio-style apartments with interconnectivity to provide accommodation for regional families accessing treatment and supporting loved ones along with resident student doctors and nurses. The Friendlies Foundation Charity Golf Day was a sell-out for the second year in a row at the Bundaberg Golf Club on Friday 10 September. The Friendlies was proud to recognise the hard work of people within the organisation at the eighth annual Friendlies Awards Evening, on Friday, March 12. Our Friendlies Foundation drew the prize winners on Saturday. A total prize value of $13,500 went to the local community. The prize is a travel voucher from our local Bundaberg Travel Centre, and the voucher has no expiry date!
