Help us preserve The Friendlies History

For almost 100 years, the Bundaberg Friendly Society Medical Institute has been working for the community by delivering healthcare through the Friendly Society Private Hospital and Friendly Society Pharmacy.

The pharmacy first opened in 1920 and the hospital in 1946, with both remaining community owned and not-for-profit businesses today, with a purpose to provide leading quality care to residents in the Wide Bay community.

As The Friendlies prepares for major milestones of 100 years of the pharmacy and 75 years of the hospital, we want to record, preserve and display the history of the organisation.

We are seeking support from the community to help us create and record a collaborative history of the organisation and are looking for people in the community to share their stories of the hospital and pharmacy, as well as photos and memorabilia.

If you would be able to provide us with a story, image or other relevant historical item, please leave your details below, so we can contact you.

Please note: This form is an expression of interest and doesn’t obligate you to be involved.
