Bio

Dr Kolt completed his medical training in Victoria and Orthopaedic training in Victoria and New South Wales. He has worked as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in public and private practice in the Albury / Wodonga region for 17 years.

Dr Kolt manages the OrthoRAPID service for management of acute sports and workplace and accidental injuries, with the focus on rapid assessment, prompt surgical management, early rehabilitation and planning to return patients back to work, life and sports as soon as possible. He manages all orthopaedic injuries and fractures from the collar bones to the toes, in all age groups. Dr Kolt joins the Friendlies Private Hospital and the entire Southern Great Barrier Reef region to provide first line support for the busy emergency departments – for advice, input into acute management, rapid admission for surgical services and consultant-led aftercare.

Via his elective practice, Momentum Orthopaedics, he specialises in elective hip and knee surgery with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, computer navigated knee replacement, bilateral simultaneous knee replacement and optimised, patient centred rehabilitation pathways. He has performed over 1000 ACL reconstructions with return to sports in six months.

Bio

Dr Lisa Myers is a psychiatrist with over 20 years experience in mental health. Currently, she is the co-director and consulting psychiatrist at AwareHub, an established, holistic mental health clinic.

She is a child and adolescent and general adult psychiatrist and is experienced in providing comprehensive care to clients of all ages. She has worked in both public and private mental health and in both inpatient and community settings.

One of her key goals is to establish a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) service in the Friendlies Consulting Suites. This innovative treatment has shown promising results in managing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, migraines and neuropathic pain. Dr Myers has used this treatment in her Sydney clinic for some time and is excited about bring this to Bundaberg.
