It’s National Volunteers Week (15-21 May) and The Friendlies community sends a special shout-out to all the dedicated individuals who give their time to help others. The theme this year is “Better Together” which ties in with The Friendlies’ commitment to friendliness because it’s foundational to our name and culture. There are currently 26 volunteers helping throughout the hospital and interested newcomers are welcome to apply. New interactive pets and dolls to aid cognitively impaired patients

Patients at The Friendlies Hospital with cognitive impairment now have special new companions thanks to a very generous donation from The Friendlies Foundation. The interactive cat and dog along with a lifelike weighted newborn baby doll can provide comfort as well as stimulate memories for patients with cognitive impairment. Bundaberg set for a night of Hollywood glamour

The glitz and glamour of Hollywood is coming to Bundaberg on 4 March when The Friendlies Foundation Ball will be held at the Bundaberg Multiplex. Lots of winners at Friendlies Foundation Golf Day

The Friendlies Foundation Charity Golf Day at Bundaberg Golf Club was again a successful fundraiser and a fun community event. High Tea raises $948 for Friendlies Foundation

It was a busy two days for The Friendlies community with a High Tea fundraiser on Saturday following the Golf Day. Nearly 70 people attended at HSG at the Gardens to support the hospital accommodation project. A total of $948 was raised.
