Our Critical Care Unit and Cardiac Step Down Unit have been designed to provide highly specialised care to patients with acute cardiac illnesses or those who are suspected to have heart problems. These units combine the latest technology in cardiac monitoring and equipment with a friendly environment designed to aid faster recovery and reduce stress and anxiety.

Cardiologists Dr Andre Conradie, Dr Hermann Wittmer, Dr David Di Fiore, Dr David Grout, Dr Angus Thompson and Dr Ahmad Zakariyya and a highly skilled coronary care team provide exceptional care for our patients. The Friendlies has the only private Coronary Care Unit between Buderim and Townsville.
